Exercise Physiology

What is Exercise Physiology?

Exercise Physiology assesses the effects exercise has on the body, looking at many body systems including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurological and metabolic to improve body function, performance and promote health. 

Exercise Physiologist's are university qualified and use exercise as a prescription to help with:

  • Injury and post-surgery rehabilitation

  • Manage chronic health conditions and unseen illness's

  • Promote healthy behaviour changes

  • Promote having an active lifestyle through regular exercise

Exercise is medicine and with the right prescription of exercise, you will feel confident to move more both at home and out in the community. 

Get You Moving is set up as an online exercise physiology clinic offering the following programs:
